Since 1973, Emil Gisler's small but versatile mechanical workshop has been developing with a great deal of innovativeness into two world-renowned companies - Emil Gisler AG and GIPO AG.

Both companies are constantly setting new standards, especially in the area of mobile crushing whilst ensuring maximum levels of safety and reliability.

Emil Gisler AG convinces customers due to its many years of experience, professional consultancy, individual developments and designs. Vibrant teamwork between the engineering and manufacturing sectors and well-trained employees creates a versatile and creative dynamic between customer wishes and cost-effective solutions.

Since 1989, GIPO AG, has as a trading company of Emil Gisler AG, been selling an innovative and versatile range of processing systems that offer unsurpassed precision and performance worldwide. The sustainable GIPO plants stand out due to their high quality components and proven longevity.


A long story of success in a nutshell

1973 Emil Gisler ventures the step into independence and starts setting up a mechanical workshop in Seedorf. In autumn, he moves into this new mechanical workshop with an office and residential building.

1974 Formation of a simple company.

1979 Construction of the first factory hall.

1981 Founding of Emil Gisler AG, mechanical engineering and hydraulics.

1982 Construction of the world’s first tracked, fully hydraulic stone-crushing plant for the Aggregat AG. Specialising in tunnel-press-pipe tunnelling machinery for the Herrenknecht company.

1989 Founding of GIPO AG as sales company of Emil Gisler AG.

2003 Construction of the GIPOKOMBI RC 170 FDR, the world‘s largest tracked mobile combined plant.

2009 Delivery of the 500th plant, a GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR.

2012 Delivery of the first GIPO plant to Australia.

2016 Delivery of the 700th plant, a GIPOREC R 131 C GIGA.

2017 Following the death of Emil Gisler, his daughters Sabine Arnold-Gisler and Claudia Gisler take charge of the largest privately owned employer in the Canton of Uri.

2018 Establishment of subsidiary GIPO d.o.o., Senj, Croatia.

2019 Groundbreaking of the area expansion.

2020 Start of production in the new factory halls.

2021 Delivery of the 1'000th plant, a GIPOKOMBI RC 2100 MAG'IMPACT.

2021 Completion of the area expansion.
