Practical day for GIPO apprentices

08. 06. 2018

All our apprentices received the opportunity to observe our GIPO plants in full use.

In spring-like weather, our apprentices had their first chance to marvel at a GIPOSTAT P90 stationary plant in action at the sand and gravel quarry in Ibach. After a small tour of the works, their practice day took them on to the Christen company in the village of Küssnacht in Schwyz. There they were given a demonstration and explanation of the tried and tested GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR combined plant.

Subsequently, they travelled around the Vierwaldstättersee lake to Stansstad in Nidwalden to the Steinag Rozloch company. They were particularly impressed by the quarry's huge dimensions. However, the GIPOBAC B1410 FDR jaw crusher proved to the apprentices that it was up to the task because of its versatility and range of functions.

To conclude the day, they visited the Gasperini hard rock quarry in Attinghausen in Uri. The apprentices were very impressed by our prototype jaw crusher, the GIPOBAC B1200 C DA, with its brand-new transient oscillation system. They also had the chance to observe the tried and tested GIPOBAC B 1395 PB jaw crusher in action.

Our apprentices benefited from the many impressions they took away with them about all aspects of our plants. They were able to experience live what they are doing their work for and what results it produces.
