BAUMA 2019 Munich

No half measures

At this year's BAUMA construction machinery trade fair, long-established Swiss company Gipo will present the tried and tested mobile tracked GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR DA and, for the first time, the GIPOREC R 130 FDR GIGA DA, a mobile tracked impact crusher with separate screening unit.

This year's BAUMA, the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, construction material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and construction equipment, will take place from 8 to 14 April in Munich. As in previous years, Gipo will be at the grade fair again this year and will present two very special highlights from its extensive product range: the GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR DA, a mobile tracked impact crusher which has been tried and tested in many situations, and the brand-new GIPOREC R 130 FDR GIGA DA, which is also a mobile tracked impact crusher, but with a separate screening unit. These may be "only" two machines, but they illustrate very clearly how Gipo defines the standards it sets for its own machines. Gipo plants must be exceedingly robust, high-performance, reliable, innovative and flexible in order to satisfy Gipo's own quality standards and more especially to satisfy its customers' demands. It is clear just from the company's history, which began as a one-man business in 1973 and has developed since then into a company with global reach today, that they have succeeded in doing this. And yet: Gipo is not a mass producer. All plants are manufactured individually and are thus tailored precisely to customer requirements. And this is precisely what the two demonstration models illustrate!

Tried and tested, and new: The two belong together

On the mobile tracked GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR DA, which has been tried and tested in numerous situations, including the toughest, the extremely powerful P 130 pulveriser and the large 2-deck screener are mounted together on a single machine chassis. This enables the oversize to be either discharged out the side or returned to the feed channel as required. The conveyor belt for oversize recirculation is mounted on a stable swivel bracket that swivels hydraulically for use as a stockpile conveyor and is also available for making stockpiles. Powered by a Caterpillar level 5 C15 Acert diesel engine with particle filter system and 433 kW or 580 bhp, it has a feed capacity of up to 500 tonnes per hour, depending on the feed material. There is an integrated air separation system for both oversize and undersize material, which together with the iron output in the direction of the material flow with the overbelt magnet is a further decisive improvement, particularly for recycling building materials.

Likewise, the GIPOREC R 130 FDR GIGA DA, which is being presented for the first time, is also a mobile tracked plant equipped with a P 130 pulveriser, which can be extended very quickly at any time by attaching a 1- to 3-deck screening unit. Using this combination, the crushed material can be screened off and a qualified final grain size can be produced. The impact crushing plant can be transported with or without the screening unit. It is precisely this feasibility for configuration that makes this plant very flexible. Powering the plant is a strong Scania level 4 final DC16 384A diesel engine. It too has a feed capacity of around 500 tonnes per hour.

Strong, reliable and fuel-efficient

Alongside the P 130 pulveriser with 1,270 x 1,100 mm crusher inflow, both plants are equipped with the new and innovative direct crusher drive with the flange-mounted Revox drive, which does not only ensure low fuel consumption, but also highly cost-efficient use. The crusher discharge with 1,600 mm wide discharge channel, the resulting optimum material flow, the new hydraulic solution powering the auxiliary drives like channels, screens and conveyor belts, the iron output in longitudinal direction, and finally, the air separation system are further key features that set these two plants apart.

However, Gipo does not merely sell machinery - advising their customers is their top priority in doing so. And this will be one of the focal points of Gipo's presence at this year's BAUMA too – Gipo is looking forward to your visit!
