BAUMA 2019 Munich - Review

09. 05. 2019

The most important platform in this industry

The most successful BAUMA show of all time came to an end after seven days, clocking up a total of over 620,000 visitors (an advance of 40,000 on 2016). Numbers of visitors from China, Australia and Japan showed a particularly marked increase. Around 3700 exhibitors from 63 countries attended the event – likewise setting a new record.

GIPO AG too can look back on a highly successful trade fair. Our business expectations were met, or even exceeded. Alongside many visits by existing customers, our sales representatives carried on interesting discussions with visiting professionals and chalked up plenty of new contacts. As always, the BAUMA proved one of the most important platforms in the industry for the presentation of new products and an extremely useful opportunity for networking.

New products and innovations

The many visitors from Germany and further afield showed great interest in the GIPO plants that were on show. You could say that at times the GIPO stand was practically swamped. An enthusiastic reception was given to the tried and tested tracked mobile GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR DA and the GIPOREC R 130 FDR GIGA DA, which was being presented for the first time. The latter is a track-mobile plant incorporating a type P 130 pulveriser and equipped with a 1 to 3 deck screen unit. Visitors were particularly interested in GIPO’s unique solution for iron extraction and discharge in longitudinal direction, as well as in its air-separation system. And there can be no doubt that GIPO’s many times proven innovative and efficient direct crusher drive also gave people plenty to talk about.

Handover of the plants

We had the opportunity, during the trade fair, of solemnly handing over the keys of both plants on show to the customer commissioning them, to general applause. The GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR DA was delivered, after the end of the show, to our loyal and longstanding customer Wacker GmbH in Filderstadt. Our equally loyal customer TLS GmbH of Dunningen-Seedorf took delivery of the GIPOREC R 130 FDR GIGA, adding another GIPO plant to its collection.

We would like to thank the Wacker and TLS companies for many years of successful partnership, and hope both firms will have every success in using their new GIPO plants.
