Individual response to customer wishes

The company M. Reithelshöfer GmbH has been using a GIPOREC R 130 FDR GIGA DA since the end of 2018. The second-generation family firm already had one GIPO plant, and has now reinforced it with a second.

Tailored to customer requirements

The impact crusher on caterpillar treads comes with a connected screening unit. It is being used by the Reithelshöfer company exclusively for recycling operations. In spite of its impressive size, the crusher is extremely mobile and has already been able to demonstrate excellent performance in connection with various projects. The centrepiece of the system is a highly robust and powerful Type P 130 impact crusher, with a pulveriser infeed of 1270 x 1100 mm and a rotor diameter of 1300 mm. The plant is equipped with the new and innovative direct crusher drive, backed up by a flange-mounted Revox gear system. The gears mean that the crusher can be driven directly and with a minimum of wastage. The crusher discharge is by way of the tried and tested discharge channel and a conveyor belt. The broad discharge belt prevents irritating blockages underneath the rotor and at the transfer points, while at the same time the height of the material layer is considerably reduced. This is a particular benefit in connection with recycling operations, as any iron items present will be picked up more effectively by the suspension magnet. And we would like to point out yet another special feature: the system is equipped with two air separators, one in the oversize particle circulation system, and another on the lower deck. As a result light substances like wood, plastic and other light foreign bodies can be blown out and extracted from the material flow at two points at once.

Trusting in performance and flexibility

When asked what the Reithelshöfer company particularly likes about the GIPO plant, Technical Director Heiko Winter Dip. Eng. replied: ‘We were looking for a flexible machine which could easily be taken apart and transported to the operating site on our flatbed trucks. And we also wanted a partner who operates on the same terms as ourselves, in other words with a great deal of flexibility. It needed to be a machine where we could count on ongoing service backup. It had to tick all the boxes, and what GIPO offered did precisely that.’

We would like to thank the Reithelshöfer company for putting their faith in us, and hope they will continue to enjoy every success with the new system.
