Track-mounted impact crusher in mountain operations

MM Aufbereitung+Recycling AG in Ilanz in the Canton of Graubünden has been operating a new GIPOREC R 100 FDR GIGA rock crushing plant since this spring. It is 30 years since they put their first crusher into operation. From 2011 onward, the predecessor model – the GIPOREC R 100 FDR GIGA – was the first GIPO plant to be used. This has now been replaced by a new plant. The materials processed include concrete, demolition waste, asphalt and natural stone. These are used to make gravel mixtures for road building, as well as aggregates for RC concrete production at the company's own works. Crucial considerations for the procurement of the new rock crushing plant were the mobility aspect, with a view to ease of transport on mountain roads, and the optimised diesel consumption offered by the new system.
