A new GIPO plant is being installed at the FISCHER Weilheim company’s site in the Neckartal recycling park, Stuttgart - a more than forward-looking decision, as the GIPOREC R 131 FDR GIGA E is the first purely electrically operated mobile crushing and screening plant from GIPO in Germany.
Hans-Jörg Fischer, a managing partner of the company, comments: "We have been using several GIPO crushers and screening plants since the beginning of the 1990s and have always been very satisfied with them. The last one was a GIPOREC R 150, which had clocked up almost 11'000 operating hours. When the time came to invest in a new track-mounted crushing and screening plant, we looked at various plants and got as far as testing them – but in the end we decided to go with GIPO again."
The essential features of the crusher are the proven and powerful GIPO P 131 pulveriser, with a pulveriser inlet from 1'270 to 920 mm and a rotor diameter of 1'200 mm. The crusher discharge comes with the proven vibrating discharge channel. Measuring 1'400 mm, the crusher discharge conveyor prevents irritating material jams under the rotor and at the transfer points. The crushed material is screened by the 2-deck screen machine with a screening surface of 1'500 to 5'500 mm. The oversize particles can be either discharged laterally or returned to the cycle, at the user’s preference. With the caterpillar drive, the plant can easily be moved to a different location. though its main place of operation will be the recycling park of the FISCHER company. The direct drive of the impact crusher is a 200 kW electric motor, with a frequency converter for infinitely variable rotational speed adjustment. The electric drive for the auxiliary drives achieves an output of 200 kW.
